As of Spring of 2022 we retain the right to modify Covid19 protocls based on local conditions.
ARRIVAL: Please CALL or TEXT 314-581-1199 to let the innkeeper know you have arrived. The Inn has 8 exterior doors which remain locked for the safety of the two assistant labrador innkeepers, only the OFFICE door is used to check-in. The office door is immediately to the right of the curved portion when facing the building on Bompart Ave. The assistant innkeepers will meet you from behind the office dutch door. They turned 1 year old in March of 2022 and are working on proper puppy behaviors. They will be happy to visit with anyone in person in the common area once all exterior doors are closed.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Per health authorities, it is advised to continue traveling with an available mask and practice social distancing when possible. As of Spring 2022, we have relaxed our mask policy for healthy guests. All permanent residents of the inn are fully vaccinated for your protection. It is appreciated that you bring your own mask in case we have to change our policies if a fellow guest reports an exposure or begins to feel ill.
COMMUNITY DINING:As of Spring 2022 we have begun to allow community dining and visiting with other guests. If you prefer to dine in a socially distanced area please let the innkeeper know when you check in.
SELF-SERVICE: We have reinstituted self-serve beverages and snacks. A hand washing and hand sanitizer station continue to be available.
COVID-19 Cancellations: If this is a last minute Covid-19 cancellation because you have tested positive or been exposed to someone testing positive you will receive a gift voucher for a future stay. We want you to be healthy and visit as soon as you are able. If you prefer to have the option of a full refund due to covid19 or any other illness, an optional Worry Free Booking warranty is available at the time of booking.
Check In/Out MODIFICATIONS due to COVID-19 STAY SAFE guidelines: We are no longer leaving a room vacant for 24-72 hours between guests. Extra time may be required to get your room ready. We will do everything within reasonable time constraints to get you settled in and still meet all sanitation protocols.
CANCELLATIONS: At Tuxedo Park STL B&B every guest reservation is both important and special to us. We understand that changes in plans, emergencies, or other circumstances out of your control may cause you to need to cancel your reservation. Cancellations occurring more than one month prior to your check-in date will be given a 100% refund of your deposit or paid in full reservation in anticipation of refilling the room. Cancellations occurring 5-29 days prior to check-in are asked to cover 50% of the reservation (your deposit). You may opt to apply your entire deposit to a future stay booked within the next 12 months; there is no fee to do this. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than four (4) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your room(s), a refund will be made less any fees or unsold nights.
*NOTE: A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, Holidays and special events; please inquire if your reservation falls under one of these categories*
Check In/Out: Check in time is between 3pm and 7pm. Check out time is by 11am. If you need to check in earlier or check out later, please let us know and we will do everything possible to accommodate you. These times may be modified to comply with sanitation protocols. Understand if your room is not ready at 3pm, it is because we are being extra thorough to make your stay as safe and comfortable as possible. You will be contacted by cell phone, if your room is delayed. Please make sure you have a cell phone number on file.
CHILDREN: Tuxedo Park STL is not an environment suitable for children under the age of 7. If you are traveling with children and extended family, please inquire about whole Inn booking. Children are not permitted to eat in any of the guest rooms; not complying will result in additional cleaning fees.
LOST and FOUND: We are not responsible for any items left behind after your departure. If you believe you have left something, please contact us and we will keep an eye out for it and or make arrangements for its return to you.
NO-SHOWS: Guests who do not show up on their reserved date without notification will be charged for the entire reservation. No shows will not receive a refund if the rooms get resold nor be allowed to use their deposit to re-book as outlined in the cancellation policy. Guests may always make a new reservation at the available rate for the new date(s) selected.
NOISE: Tuxedo Park STL is in the heart of a residential neighborhood. Please be mindful of other guests and the neighbors. We ask that loud outdoor activities cease at 10pm. Guests can use the patio, upper and lower decks after that time but no music or other loud noise will be permitted.
PARKING: We have free parking located on the Tuxedo Blvd entrance. Please inform us if you are driving a large profile vehicle so we can make appropriate arrangements. Parking is at your own risk.
PAYMENT: A 50% deposit must be made at the time of your reservation unless otherwise negotiated. Balance is due at the time of arrival. If you are buying accommodations as a gift, please call.
PETS: The Inn has two young labrador assistant inn keepers. They take their job of guest relations very seriously. This is their home and although they love sharing it with human guests, at this time we cannot accept guest’s personal pets at Tuxedo Park STL.
SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in the building, on the decks or next to any entry. Smoking inside will result in an additional $250 cleaning fee. You may smoke on the NE corner of the property (end of the Tuxedo Driveway); this location prevents smoke from re-entering the building and neighboring properties. Please ask for a fire proof receptacle to contain smoking debris at all times.
At Tuxedo Park STL, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information.
The personal information we collect during the registration process is to satisfy credit card security protocol and to be able to remain in contact with you up until your stay with us. You will be able to opt out of future communications if you wish after that time. We will also ask for photo identification at check-in for the safety of our family and guests. This information is never shared with third party vendors. The building is equipped with Wi-Fi so if you choose to not have your location noted, please turn off your google and Facebook locators on your cell phone, iPad and laptop. Tuxedo Park STL will never post photos of guests or reference specific guest names in social media posts and blogs unless given written consent. We ask that you respect fellow guests and not post images of or names of fellow guests on your personal sites without their expressed permission.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
At Tuxedo Park STL, we take credit card security seriously. When guests make a reservation using a credit card we use every precaution to safe guard that information. Your credit card information will be encrypted at the time of your online reservation and will not be stored onsite. While you are here the online reservation system can also be used for the purchase of additional add-on packages, gift certificates and souvenirs for touchless payment. Your credit card information is automatically deleted after each visit unless you have a series of current and future reservations already in the system.
Tuxedo Park STL may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests and strategic marketing partners.
